Alcohol Injection Systems, AIS, is proud to announce its new competition fender mount 3 quart water methanol injection tank. Designed for those who are looking for a race worthy water methanol injection tank to meet the track requirements. This new tank is perfectly suited for both race and street applications in which users are looking for a small compact tank to fit under the hood of their vehicle. Not only is it an attractive race inspired tank. It comes designed with many useful and needed improvements over that of the commonly used white generic tanks that have been adopted for use in the water methanol injection industry. Another first from AIS.
Features Include:
- Custom molded 3 quart tank. Round design allows it to fit in smaller compact spaces then the commonly used white generic tanks
- Black textured finish resists scratches and dirty finger prints unlike the commonly used white generic tanks which easily stain and change colors over time
- Aircraft style locking fuel cell cap with built in one way flapper vent and stainless steel ring and hardware vs plastic screw on cap
- Tank designed with bottom sump to help utilize and direct all the fluid to the pickup vs white tank with flat floor and no fluid control or sump
- Large billet 3/8 NPT insert molded into tank providing a quality and secure connection, allowing the use of either nylon or stainless steel hose's to be used and eliminating drilling a hole in the tank to install a separate tank fitting as with the white tanks
- Custom fabricated brushed aluminum straps. Straps may be removed in the event space does not permit. Tank may then be mounted with out the straps by utilizing the four inserts molded into the back of the tank.
- Mounting pads with drill points located on left and right hand side of tank to allow use of optional sight gauge
- Built in low level sensor receptacle in the rear of tank maintaining a clean appearance vs white tanks which require mounting low level in plain sight
- Dimensions are 10" tall by 6" wide and 6" deep
