AIS is proud to announce all Stage 1 water methanol injection kits sold after May 1st 2009 will now include our new heavy duty, "push lock port", adjustable boost pressure switch with mounting clip as shown below.

 

 

 

While our older switch served and performed for us quite well over the past years. It wasn't without a few issues. The most notable problem we experianced with the switch was with its barbed nibble hose connection not sealing. Occasionally with high boost applications the hose which slipped over the barbed nibble port on the switch would leak allowing boost pressure to escape the hose. While we made several attempts to work with various different types of hoses to solve this problem. The issue still remained and a response was needed.  

 

Listed below is our new adjustable boost switch with push lock fittings compared to the competitors adjustable boost switch with barbed nibble port and plastic tee fitting. 

 

 

 

In the end we opted to switch from the barbed nibble port to a new NPT port. This new NPT port now allows us to use a screw on push lock fitting similiar to the fittings used on the fluid side. Fitted now with a durable air tight connection. Gone are the problems of leaky barbed nibble hose connections as still offered by the competitors. To further ensure the air tight seal in your line. An additional 1/8 male NPT fitting is also supplied which is used for connecting the boost line to your intake manifold or turbo piping. Shown below is an example of this new switch and fittings used with our black nylon hose. Also shown in the picture is the boost switch clip for securing the boost switch to your vehicles firewall or fender. .
